We stopped here for dinner because I was craving Loco Moco and this was the closest stop to our hotel that served it. We opted to get the double patty so my husband could also have some, the Cuban sandwich, kids dish and chips and an order of calamari. The kids fish and chips and calamari came first. The fish and chips were flaky, crispy and fresh. The kids portion comes with two large pieces and plenty of crispy fries to munch on. The calamari comes with rings and tentacle pieces and a warm marinara sauce that is nicely flavored. The calamari itself was ok, a bit chewy and stringy in some of them, but not terrible by any means. The main events followed quickly after (food arrives quickly here which is great if you're hungry!) and the portions were large and at the perfect temperature. The Loco Moco double comes with two quarter pounders, two fried eggs and two mounds of white rice all smothered in mushroom gravy topped with fried onions. The fried onions were a nice surprise and added a lot of flavor and needed crunch. The gravy had a good flavor but there was some type of drizzle mixed in that was a bit sweet and off putting that I could have done without. The egg yolk was already busted on one of the eggs but not a deal breaker overall. The hamburger patty was seasoned nicely and had a nice crust on them which worked well even when smothered in gravy. The Cuban sandwich was loaded with mustard and pickles, Kalua pork and ham slices. The ham was smoked lunch meat and not our favorite but without it the sandwich tasted amazing. The pork was juicy and full of flavor and the baguette was the perfect vehicle for the sandwich. Overall a great meal, great service and we grabbed two desserts to go as well (strawberry cheesecake and a Mac nut Kouign Amann). The cheesecake was not very fresh and you could tell by the fresh strawberries mixed into the cake and the one on top but the flavor was still good. The macadamia nut Kouign Amann lacked that sugary crust on the traditional pastry and the Mac nuts did not add much to the flavor or texture although they had been toasted. Unfortunately both desserts I would pass on next time.

Delicious food, hearty servings, and fair prices for being so close to the resorts. Service was lovely and vibe was comfortable.

Service: We had a great experience while we ate here for dinner on one of our evenings in Kauai. We were served by TJ and he was so kind and helpful. Ask for him by name. Ambience: It has a cute ambience about it -- very island. If you like that you'll love it. Food: The food menu is quite extensive from pastas, to steak, to fish, to some native things. My two boys and me had the Loco Moco (we heard it was good here) and my wife got Fish and Chips. - Loco Moco: When we visit each island and on each trip I make it a point to have Loco Moco at each visit. I have to say this Loco Moco at Lilikoi is IN MY TOP TWO of all times -- maybe the best one. It's a must try....see pic. It has a 1lb burger, crispy onions and rice, and the gravy has a little sweet soy that makes it pop! - Fish and Chips: My wife finished the fish which she doesn't ever do and I tried the chips and they were good! We will be visiting here again!

Nice, local vibe. Enjoyed our view of the ocean from the patio. Food was good for a family of picky eaters - everyone was able to find something! Service was great.

Staff is beyond friendly. And their pastries are the best I have ever had. In my opinion a VERY underrated place. Way better than any trailer instagram influencer looking place. It's a place that makes you feel like a local too. And friendly staff is a plus. We went there 3 times for morning breakfast. Every dish we had was yummy. And no complaints on the cocktails either. We came back to pick up pastries another time! My only complaint is their prices, BUT everything on the island is very overpriced. But you can't go anywhere anymore without coming across that problem.

Happened upon this place for breakfast. Wonderful view, cute place, chickens and birds picking up crumbs. Open air, but upstairs. Food was very good, coffee great, service was also great! I had veggie omelet with hollandaise and had to share with hubs. Lots of mushrooms, and grilled onions, and spinach. We will be back for more!

Located on the second floor of a shopping plaza and had an amazing meal here. The service was exceptional- fast and friendly. Open air dining concept with a nice (partial) view of the ocean and mountains. The ahi tuna burger was amazing!

We came here for dinner our next last night in Kaua'i on Monday July 1st. We came at the perfect time, hardly anyone else there, and a breezy night. We had calamari, some drinks, a burger, fried fish sammy, coconut shrimp. We had excellent service as well. The burger was cooked really well, as were the coconut shrimp, & calamari. This place has awesome views of the ocean, super cool if you go before the sun sets and you get a table closer to the edge to enhance your view.

One of my go to methods of researching where to eat in an unfamiliar place is to ask the locals . Since two people recommended this place and it was 5 min from the Marriott / Royal Sonesta Lihue, it was an easy choice. Being in Kauai and on vacay, I wanted to eat fresh fish so I went with the Macadamia nut crusted opakapaka which we ordered with the lilikoi cream sauce on the side. Good thing we did because although I liked the fish, I preferred it with lemon and soy sauce which I requested for a more salty versus sweet flavor. The accompanying vegetables were nicely undercooked and firm. I wasn't sure how the Curried cauliflower salad would be based on its description, but it totally exceeded my expectations and I loved it !! It was a generous portion of greens, an incredible fresh mango chutney, topped with lots of chopped Mac nuts, yum! We went for dinner but they're supposed to have good breakfast and desserts. It's a fairly big restaurant and bar with a Kauai island style decor including super fun stained glass parrot lamps. Service was pleasant and friendly although a bit absent since we went late and they were cleaning up. I'd like to give it a 4.5 for an overall good dining experience, but rounding down since we didn't experience it in full force.
